A great way to train the mind to catch small minuscule details in various situations is to train it using fun games that can hone the skill slowly and surely much like a sword slowly forming it’s shape at a forge- with each strike of the hammer, the blade becomes a blade, similarly with each new game, the mind becomes sharper. Word-find puzzles are very unique as they are words hidden among jumbled letters that have to be found and encircled to show where they are hidden- the game takes patience and often more than not, patterns that are obvious as the mind progresses to formulate strategies to find the words.

Chess is an ancient game that dates back to ancient Egypt and was best known as the “game of kings”, where one strategizes how best to corner their opponents key piece without directly confronting it but rather trapping in spaces it cannot occupy due to the fact they are marked by other pieces. The power of this logic puzzle is the ability to create great strategists from merely understanding the mechanics of the game and playing each step thought out carefully into at least five moves ahead to ensure security of your own “king” piece and manipulation of your opponent’s side of the board. Learning chess will be more than an advantage for it will make a person become a great thinker and creator of solutions to problems.

People often try to muscle their way out of sticky situations to prove they can bulldoze whatever obstacle lies in the way, however, it usually ends up even more tangled and messed up than it was before the attempted “brutal solution”. A great way to solve problems is to first understand what they are about and how they came to be, the origin of a problem can best solve hard puzzles that can exhaust the mental capacities of most people. A good way of doing this is to eliminate the idea that it is a problem- by treating it as a cause of a greater movement and slowly back track to find where the complications had started and work from there.
